Happy day after Christmas! I hope you’re feeling rejuvenated after family time, good food and a big dose of the holiday spirit.
I spent the day making cinnamon rolls and catching up over mimosas, which was needed after a crazy past few weeks gearing up for our healthyglow.co launch. (Ladies, If you haven’t signed up to receive emails, DO IT!)
Peruvian Chicken Drumsticks are marinated with lime, garlic, peruvian spices and yogurt then baked to perfection and drizzled with an avocado lime sauce! Serve with brown rice or plantain chips for a full meal.
When my Grandma and I get on the phone it’s usually an hour convo about what she’s cooking for her friends or how she’s been swimming and going to zumba.
She’s my spirit animal and she makes the best muffins you’ll ever eat. Big, fat amazing blueberry muffins that melt in your mouth. Oh and her raisin bran muffins? TO DIE FOR. Especially with a little pat of creamy butter.
Happy Friday! This is officially my last gift guide of 2016, and also one of my favorites.
If you know me well, you know that I have a fondness for trying out new skincare and beauty products. It’s been a thing I’ve done since college but more recently, I’ve started purchasing on a regular basis. My favorites are usually masks, dry oils and night creams, but it varies by season.
Over the past year I’ve found some favorites that have found their way into my little beauty cabinet time and time again. So if you’re looking for something new to try, or you’d like to gift a friend (or girlfriend/wife) with an inexpensive product, there might be something on this list to buy.
Golden Turmeric Chicken Soup with chickpeas and sweet potatoes will be your go-to winter soup! Flavored with ginger, garlic, coconut milk and a touch of peanut butter. 381 calories & 33g protein per serving!
Brrrrrrrrr. Is the polar vortex back or something because this weather isn’t jiving with my soul. I’m writing to you bundled up like I’m going into the arctic: I’ve got on Tony’s oversized Nike sweatpants, fluffy warm socks and a shirt that doesn’t match anything.
The upside? I reheated a big bowl of this warm turmeric chickpea chicken soup and it’s fantastic as ever, even on the third day.
Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala is a lightened up comforting Indian dish made with tomato sauce, chicken breast, coconut milk and various flavorful, bold spices. Serve with brown rice or naan for a full meal!
Oh hi, it’s me! I’ve come back alive after cookie week recipes from last week. Did you guys happen to make any over the weekend? I’d love to hear!
