Soft Brown Butter Ginger Cookies with Lemon Icing

STEP 1

Whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon & allspice

STEP 2

Brown your butter in a saucepan, then set it aside to cool

STEP 3

Beat together brown sugar with the brown butter until well combined

STEP 4

Beat in an egg, vanilla and molasses until smooth

STEP 5

Slowly beat in the flour mixture until a cookie dough forms, then chill the dough

STEP 6

Scoop the chilled dough and roll it into dough balls

STEP 7

Roll each dough ball in sugar, then place on your baking sheet and bake

STEP 8

While the cookies bake mix together powdered sugar with lemon juice & zest

Frost each cooled cookie and enjoy!
