We returned late Monday night from our little vacation in Arizona and I’ve been busy playing catch up. Not only am I exhausted, but I’ve been chugging kombucha like water and putting turmeric in everything I eat. Super trendy, I know.

Rather than work, my mind is begging me to lay on the couch and watch old episodes of Felicity, just so I can stare at Ben and reminisce about how simple life was back then. Sometimes adulting is hard, ya know?

But seriously, the mini vacation we took WAS AMAZING. I am planning on sharing more next week about where we hiked because it was stunning.

Happy, happy Friday! I’m so sorry to have missed last week’s Weekend Favorites! I try my very best to get the out every week, but last weekend I was in California for a short trip, then flew back home for 24 hours and took off again to head to Arizona.

Don’t be afraid of tofu, check out this tofu guide with easy recipes and tips on how to prepare and cook tofu! From stir-fry to pudding pie and smoothies!

Happy Monday… Or should I say Meatless Monday? How was your weekend? Mine felt like it was as indulgent as ever, and now I’m on a mission to eat a little better, choosing lean proteins, lots of veggies and changing up my eating routine (I’ve been a naughty girl).

If there’s something I love to do when I find myself in a little bit of a food rut, is clean out my pantry and fridge, head to the store and pick up something new. This week, tofu is on the agenda! Recently I became a brand ambassador for Nasoya tofu (their products are non-GMO yay!). I have to say, it’s extremely exciting for me to be able to share more tofu recipes with you for a few reasons:

1.) I know many of you love eating plant based foods, or are vegetarian.

2.) My mom used to be a vegan chef (seriously!) so she’s very experienced in cooking with vegan foods, including tofu.

3.) It’s FUN to introduce new recipes & foods; the more you know the more comfortable you are in the kitchen.

I’m SO thrilled to share with you the first of many posts about our Chicago condo aka our #ambitioushome. While we aren’t quite as settled in as I would’ve hoped (because hello, life), we’ve taken our time decorating to ensure that we really love everything we purchase.

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing our master bedroom tour so be sure to come back for the full reveal. In the meantime, I wanted to tell you about the best bed I’ve ever slept on (my own bed). Seriously, it has been life changing.

Hey friends! This week has flown by like crazy, no? I can’t complain because I feel like Spring is only a month or two away. I’m eagerly waiting for the warmth to return so I can take out my bike and the trails — there’s something rejuvenating about the wind against you and rays of sunshine beating warm on your sweat-kissed skin.

Last Saturday (1/21/17) was a day that I’ll never forget. Most of you already know that Tony proposed (and that I said yes!) but I wanted to write out not only our engagement story, but our love story right here, so that I could keep it forever.

Hi guys! How are you on this glorious Friday? I’m so excited to be officially back with my weekend favorites. As you’ve probably realized, it’s been a completely insane past few months so I had to stop doing them for a while, but I’m happy that I’m trying to get back into a regular blogging routine. It’s always fun to save my favorite posts and share them with you on Fridays.

Actually my hope is to do a completely photobomb of my life lately on the blog soon. But for now this purple sweet potato will have to do. You can catch how I made it on my Instagram.

Thank you SO much for all of your comments, touching thoughts and prayers on my last wellness post. Your support is like a breath of fresh air as my heart longs for compassion and understanding. Often these posts are much easier to write then they are to say, because saying them makes it true and real, and all the things bubble up to the surface that you never knew hurt so much.

So here we are: Part Two of my Wellness Story. Part two of me just laying it all out there. Writing nonsensically because it makes sense to me.
