So, can we chat about Audiobooks for a quick sec? Who else has started listening to audiobooks > reading? *Raises hand*
As much as I adore reading and cozying up in a corner chair for an afternoon, I find myself never having the time anymore, but I still enjoy escaping into a suspenseful story or feeling connected to a heart-gripping memoir. That’s where Audible comes in.
Tony recently got both the Amazon Echo and Echo Dot and we downloaded Audible. It’s been amazing because while I’m baking in the kitchen or writing blog posts, I can listen to a story and feel like I’m actually there. The narrators do a wonderful job at making each book come alive, and through your imagination, you can envision yourself within each storyline.
There’s beauty in not know what the future may hold for you. Don’t you think? It kind of builds this crazy sense of excitement in planning and anticipating what will come next.
For me, I’ve been so thrilled to see Ambitious Kitchen grow and flourish over the years.
Right now I find myself anticipating what’s could be next, and for some reason, I have this crazy feeling that 2017 might just be the best year I’ve ever had. I have so many things planned:launching healthyglow.co, a site change, finishing up my cookbook proposal, traveling, decorating my home, and of course, starting my rug shop!
Hi hi hi! This week in between sharing healthy recipes, I’m going to go over some of YOUR favorite recipes from 2016. The ones that were most clicked on, made and devoured over this crazy year.
First though, a few thanks are in order!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here and making my recipes. You make doing what I love possible and I would never be here without you.
Happy Friday! This is officially my last gift guide of 2016, and also one of my favorites.
If you know me well, you know that I have a fondness for trying out new skincare and beauty products. It’s been a thing I’ve done since college but more recently, I’ve started purchasing on a regular basis. My favorites are usually masks, dry oils and night creams, but it varies by season.
Over the past year I’ve found some favorites that have found their way into my little beauty cabinet time and time again. So if you’re looking for something new to try, or you’d like to gift a friend (or girlfriend/wife) with an inexpensive product, there might be something on this list to buy.
And I’m back with another gift guide for all the fitness lovers in your life. From the yogis to runners to crossfit bosses, these fitness focused gifts make incredible presents during the holiday season.
What I adore most about a gift is something that I can use over and over again. Think leggings, pullovers, a smoothie mixer, yoga mat spray and so much more. Being someone who works out nearly everyday, I’ll admit that I kind of want all of these fitness focused gifts for myself.
Check it out below and get shopping just in time for Christmas…
Hello, hello and happy Friday! I’m back again with Gift Guide #3: For the Man in your life.
I know from experience that it can be incredibly difficult to shop for the men in your life. From your partner, boyfriend, dad or brother, men are tough because they seem to have everything they already need. I’ve put together this unique gift guide for you to help out when you’re searching for a gift for the guy in your life.
Alright, let’s do this…
I can’t believe it’s almost December. At least I’m ahead on the shopping game this year. However, I can hardly believe how fast this year has gone by.
In less than a month, we’ll all be in our respective homes, cozying up by our trees (maybe!), opening presents and smiling with our loved ones. We’ll get through it together, promise.
So that you don’t have to overthink gifts too much this year, I’ve got a few more gift guides coming your way over the next week or so! This one is for the lady in your life, whether that be your mom, friend, girlfriend, sister or grandmother; I’ve handpicked all of these gifts and chose various price points to fit every budget. Time to get shopping!
Happy Day After Thanksgiving! Before you go out shopping, I’ve got a special surprise for you!
The Ambitious Kitchen Gift Guide 2016: For the Cook & Baker is here just in time for Black Friday. I’m ridiculously excited about it and hope you are too.
All of the items you see below were hand picked by yours truly (and Rose). This year I chose gifts that would be put to good use over the years. I tried to vary between different price points, but also made sure to select high quality items that would last a lifetime.
This is the first gift guide of a few coming this year. So be sure to keep checking back on the blog over the weeks for more gift ideas.. Now let’s get shopping…
The time has finally come. I have to say goodbye to Rose as she heads to RXBAR full time. If you follow me on Snapchat, you know that Rose has been by my side for nearly two years. I’m terribly sad to see her go, but wish her amazing success in her new role!
With Rose heading out, I’m looking to hire someone new for our brand and social media manager position. This role will be 25-40 hours a week. Must be based in Chicago area. If you know of someone who might be the right fit, please pass along and share!
