Mom's Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Brown your beef in batches to give it a nice sear, then transfer beef to your slow cooker

STEP 1

Add in beef broth, dry red wine, worcestershire sauce, balsamic, thyme, salt & pepper

STEP 2

Stir in garlic, onion chunks, carrots & diced potatoes

STEP 3

Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours

STEP 4

Remove 1 cup beef broth from the slow cooker and whisk in 1/4 cup flour until smooth

STEP 5

Add it back to the slow cooker with your frozen peas, stir & cook on high for 10 minutes

STEP 6

Serve with bread, cornbread, crackers or biscuits & enjoy!
