The Best Crispy Smashed Potatoes

STEP 1

Start by boiling your potatoes in salted water until just fork tender

STEP 2

Add potatoes to a baking sheet and smash each with a large cup or another sheet pan

Mix together olive oil & garlic powder, then brush on both sides of each potato

Sprinkle with salt & pepper, then bake until golden flipping halfway through
