World's Best Banana Cream Pie

STEP 1

Pulse nutter butters into a fine crumb, then add butter and pulse again

STEP 2

Add crust to your prepared pie pan and press into the bottom & sides. Then bake & cool

STEP 3

Mix egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch & salt in a saucepan until smooth and thick

STEP 4

Add milk to a small pot, bring it to a simmer, then slowly whisk it into the filling

STEP 5

Keep whisking and place the pan over medium heat until it thickens to be custard-like

STEP 6

Add banana slices to the crust, pour the filling in, cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours

STEP 7

Whip together heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar & vanilla

STEP 8

Evenly spread the whipped cream on the cold pie, add chocolate shavings & serve
