How has your week been?!
Tony and I arrived back in Chicago on Monday after a quick trip to Vegas to see the Mariah Carey concert (bucket list item for me!). I want to sit here and TELL YOU EVERYTHING, like how she was the most amazing singer live, or how I saw dem babies (her kids’ nicknames), but I plan on sharing all the deets in another post soon.
I’ve been working out to Shred415 classes frequently and have been falling in love with running again. It’s supposed to be nearly 60 degrees in Chicago today, so maybe I’ll get outside and go for a run by the lake! Spring cannot come soon enough. AM I RIGHT?
Because I’ve been eating leftovers for a week and as a reward for all of my hard work at the gym, I’m 100% having deep dish pizza this weekend. Usually I make my own, but we’re meeting some friends at Pequod’s for a double date. I LOVE their caramelized crust. Honestly, if you come to Chicago you need to try Pequod’s! Do not let anyone lure you into Lou Malnati’s because it’s not worth the hype.
Alright, our coffee chat is done for the day. It’s tax season and I’ve got to get some things organized. Here are my favorite links from the week!
Copycat Levain Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookies. SO fat and beautiful. Need is an understatement.
I made this sheet pan chicken dinner for Tony. He LOVED it.
The 3 minute ab workout I want to try.
A dreamy tart with butternut squash and caramelized onions. Drool.
This healthy smoothie looks seriously epic. Chocolate on my mind.
How to style a bookcase! Absolutely bookmarking this.
Wait, this pizza looks like it has one of the best crusts on the planet!
Loving this guide on how to build a spring capsule wardrobe.
I was just reminiscing about my trip to Australia two years ago. Take me back.
Animal crackers used to be my favorite. These homemade versions look way too cute.
This is what happens to your brain when you stop eating sugar.
P.S. I started a new Wellness Wednesday series over on Snapchat where each week I chat about health and wellness topics, fitness, nutrition and food. There will be a new episode every Wednesday, and I’d love if you followed along.
Have the best weekend. xo!
