  • 1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and seed removed
  • 1/4 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, from 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 jalapeno, seeded and diced

  1. Add ingredients for the dipping sauce to a high powered blender or food processor and blend until well combined.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste (just a little at a time), then blend again and taste. Add more salt and pepper, if necessary.
  3. Serves 4 depending how much sauce you want. Makes about 3/4 cup sauce, about 3 tablespoons per serving.

Recipe Notes

To use as a salad dressing: Thin the sauce with a few tablespoons of water until it reaches the desired consistency.
