STEP 1
Heat up milk in the microwave until it's nice and warm

Add the warm milk to the bowl of an electric mixer, then add your quick rise yeast

Add sugar to help activate the yeast

Add melted butter, an egg and an egg yolk

Add in your bread flour and salt and give it a good mix

Once it starts coming together switch to your dough hook or knead by hand for 8-10 minutes

Drizzle a large bowl with olive oil and shape your dough into a ball

Add your dough ball to the bowl, coat it and cover the bowl to let the dough rise

After the dough has doubled in size, dump it onto a well-floured surface and press it out

Coat a rolling pin with flour and roll the dough out into a 14x9 inch rectangle

Add softened butter, brown sugar & cinnamon to the dough and rub it in well

Carefully roll the cinnamon roll dough up as tightly as possible and cut off 1 inch on each end

Use a serrated knife to carefully slice 9 even cinnamon rolls out of your dough log

Prep your pan with two strips of parchment paper & cooking spray and add the rolls

Cover the pan and let the cinnamon rolls rise once more

Make the icing by beating together room temperature cream cheese & butter
STEP 17
Add vanilla extract & powdered sugar and whip the icing until it's nice and fluffy

Once your cinnamon rolls have risen again bake them until the edges are golden brown

After the cinnamon rolls have cooled, add the icing!
