Chipotle Tahini Sauce

Creamy chipotle tahini sauce with a kick of heat from adobo sauce and a hint of sweetness from honey. Whisk up this easy chipotle sauce and dip or drizzle it on everything from tacos and quesadillas to chicken nuggets and french fries! Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoon warm water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons tablespoons adobo sauce from a can of chipotle chilis, depending on your heat tolerance
  • 1 tablespoon greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the tahini, water, 1 tablespoon of adobo sauce, greek yogurt, lime juice, honey and garlic powder. Whisk until well-combined and smooth. Taste and add an additional tablespoon of adobo sauce if you like a little more heat. Makes about ½ cup sauce.

Notes

To make dairy-free: use a plain, dairy-free greek yogurt.
Store this sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
