How has your week been so far? I’ve been making breakfast cookies every day. I’ve discovered that eating cookies for breakfast is just FUN.

I just realized it’s Friday the 13th, which is probably the reason I’ve come down with a sinus infection, right? Boooo. I’ve spent half of the week glued to the couch, cuddling with Milly & watching old episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. I always forget how much I loved Izzy’s character, especially when Denny comes into the picture. By the way, did you know that Save the Last Dance is on Netflix right now? Classic Julia Stiles movie.

Besides my sickness, this past week has been wonderful. I feel like I have spring fever, meaning I’m excited about everything in life right now. I’ve really put more effort into discovering my passions outside of work and it’s been exhilarating. I’ll have to write a post on that, but essentially I’m attempting to figure out what else I enjoy doing outside of working. Sounds silly, but work makes up a majority of my life and I’m looking forward to finding out what else brings me joy besides success & food. This particular journal has been wonderful in helping me scribble down notes and doodles.

This weekend: We don’t have many plans and I have to get some work done. We’re pretty much set on buying a place by this fall, so I’ve started to put some of our furniture on Craigslist.

Next week: I’m gearing up for an exciting announcement on the blog Monday and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Plus I’ve got some incredibly delicious recipes that I think you’re going to love.
