Happy weekend from Portland, Oregon! Tony and I are here on our babymoon and we couldn’t be more in love with this quirky city. We’ve spent the past few days eating incredible food, hiking through the mountains and soaking up the end of summer sunshine.
They say you’re supposed to go on a babymoon sometime in the second trimester to spend quality alone time with your partner before all things baby happen. I say it’s just another excuse to take a vacation, right?!
In fact, Tony and I really haven’t been on a vacation for quite some time. The last time we were supposed to go on vacation (in Turkey!), we ended up cutting it short because I was very, very sick. This time I’m hoping for a different outcome. 🙂
Writing this post isn’t easy, but I want to be transparent and honest when it comes to what actually goes through a woman’s mind while pregnant. This is a sneak peek into mine.
And guess what? It’s not all about how cute my bump is or how excited I am to become a mother. Instead, it’s about the feeling guilty parts of pregnancy that people don’t talk about.
P.S. if you haven’t caught my First Trimester post yet, be sure to give it a read!
Happy weekend, everyone! I thought I’d take some time to talk all about my first trimester, because let’s be honest, this post is entirely overdue. Especially now that I’m 20 weeks along.
This entire post will focus on the first 13 weeks of pregnancy, from morning sickness, exercise, aversions and more. I’ve found it to be an incredible experience learning from other women, so I thought I’d share this blog post to talk about my pregnancy journey.
In a lot of ways, this past year was a huge transition period for me, but you’re going to read it all. From the good and bad to the ugly.
