To say that I’ve been going a little crazy over the past few days might be an understatement. I worked on 16 recipes and ran my dishwasher over 20 times. Dishwasher = critical part of keeping me sane so if it breaks I’m absolutely screwed. Thankfully Tony has been more than wonderful at helping me unload it.
Best boyfriend ever.
Anyway, I’m fairly confident that this weekend is going to be one of the best EVER, too thanks to Tony. As many of you already know, I’ll be at the Mariah Carey concert in Vegas singing all of her highest notes at the top of my lungs. Tony got the tickets for my birthday and it’s truly a dream come true (since I was 9 years old!). Can’t wait to share my adventure with you over on Snapchat and Instagram!
One tiny request I have for you: I’d love to hear if you have any favorite restaurants in Vegas! We’ve picked a few out, but are always looking for recommendations. Thank you much!
Alright, let’s get to the favorite of the week. So much delicious food coming at you.
Grain free homemade thin mints?! Omg.
These everything bagel scones that must be made.
Putting this chicken skillet dinner on my menu next week.
Loving these tips on how to find your personal style.
Scientists discovered something crazy this week.
This baked oatmeal is my weakness.
Really enjoyed this post on trusting your intuition. It’s always right.
As someone who works out frequently, I loved this guide to the best budget activewear.
Building a minimalist pantry is something I need to do ASAP. Mine is out of control.
Okay, that’s all I have for you. I’m off to a workout! Have the best weekend. xo!

Vegas— Best Italian food. This is an old mom & pop joint that has been there for years. VERY GOOD food! Battista’s Hole in the Wall. 4041 Audrie at Flamingo. 702-732-1424. It is located behind the Flamingo in a little strip mall. Worth trying out!
The 2 BEST dinners of my entire lifetime were had in LV!!!!
1) Mario Batali’s- Carnevino & Gordon Ramsay’s -Steak. AMAAAAAZING beyond words- food that leaves you speechless!!!!
Hash House A Go Go!!! There are 3 of them in Vegas, the original is in San Diego. The food is great and the servings are huge! Go for breakfast!!!
Yardbird is my fave! We went there multiple times on our last trip because we couldn’t get enough! Try the BLT wedge salad and chicken and waffles…yum!
Yes, we are going there — I’m so excited!
Yes I have recommendations! I live in Vegas 🙂
B&B Ristorante in the Venetian/Palazzo is amazing. It’s one of the few restaurants my husband and I have gone back to multiple times(when you have so many options you have to truly stand out to go many times). The tasting menu is amazing but their regular menu is great too. It’s a Mario Batali restaurant that you can’t really go wrong in.
If you want to spend a lot of money on dinner then The Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Paris is amazing as well. The pistachio souffle is the best one. If you go for lunch they don’t have the souffles, but it is less crowded. If you want to go for dinner if you reserve a table for an early time they usually guarantee you a fountain view seat.
Mon Ami Gabi, also in Paris serves some great food and they have an amazing drink called the St. Germaine Spritzer. You have to order a caraffe and it is well worth it. I have introduced many a friend to St. Germaine there.
Off strip but close by there is a great old Vegas french restaurant. It is like stepping into old Vegas from years ago. It’s super sweet and romantic. It’s called Pamplemousse.
A cute small plates place in the MGM is called Crush.
If you are in Ceasar’s the prickly pear margaritas at Bobby Flay’s restaurant are one of my favorite drinks, although we’ve thought the food there was mediocre.
The steakhouse in Circus Circus is the best one we have been too. But don’t go there if you aren’t eating steak. The menu is literally steak, steak, and more steak and I think one chicken option. It again has a great old Vegas vibe to it. You can just imagine mob bosses eating in the darkened restaurant. It’s not a fancy steak place but the steaks are amazing.
One last non-food thing I encourage you to do if you have time. Go to the Canyon Ranch Spa in the Venetian/Palazzo. The cost of getting anything done there is outrageous BUT for $40 you can buy a day pass. It gets you access to all their fitness classes and workout rooms as well as the use of all of their spa rooms. They have one of the most extensive collection of rooms. There is a steam sauna, a dry sauna, whirlpool, cold rooms, hot rooms, a warm salt grotto, and a wave meditation room just to name a few. It’s my favorite place to destress. And you can come and go as you please throughout the day. They have a women’s only part, a men’s only part and three rooms that are coed.
Enjoy your trip! Hope that wasn’t information overload.
I’m putting that margarita on my list 🙂
I love the idea of a minimalist pantry and living on intuition. Wonderful articles!
Hey friend! Thanks so much for including my Baked Oatmeal, you are so sweet! And you guys are SO DARN CUTE! Hope you’re doing well! xo
Thanks for the link love Monique!
Enjoy Mariah!! That’s like Josh making my dreams of seeing Taylor Swift come true. It was magical!
Tao for sushi, Bouchon for a decadent brunch, and Rao’s for Italian!
I agree with the B&B Ristorante! Fabulous food. I love Las Vegas. Be sure to get a real-fruit mojito on the plaza of Ceasar’s. They are like $20, but SO good. Oh, Emeril’s restaurant at MGM was good too.
My favorites are:
Breakfast: Tableau at Wynn (great outdoor seating too), Eat (downtown), MTO Cafe (downtown)
Lunch/Dinner: China Poblano (Cosmopolitan); Olives (sit outside) at the Bellagio; Vegenation (downtown); Carson Kitchen (downtown); Mon Ami Gabi (Paris – sit outside!)
Ice Cream (frozen custard): Luv-Its
Also, all restaurants at the Wynn have vegan options, it’s awesome!!
