How crazy is it that September is already here? We close on our condo in two weeks and couldn’t be more excited for the stress of moving to be over. To prepare for the move (it’s only a mile away from our current apartment, but you know), I’ve been going through clothes and donating whatever I haven’t worn in forever. It’s so hard to pick and choose but my closet is overflowing with summer clothes and too many clutches with restaurant receipts.

By the way, I’ve decided to update my weekend favorite with little titles about what’s new or the subject of what we’re chatting about. I feel like it gives everything a little more personalization.

This past week: My Mom has been here with me and we’ve been out on the lakeshore trail nearly every day biking anywhere from 10-15 miles. The weather’s been kind and it feels good to pedal hard against the wind off Lake Michigan. I especially love when she helps me pack — thanks mama!

Now the time has come for Tony and I to start getting rid of all the things we don’t need. A few days ago I got rid of a few older sheets, throw pillows and random socks that I couldn’t find matches to (where do they go?!). This weekend I’m hoping to go through all my baking supplies and say adios to the ones I haven’t used in the past year.

The one thing I’m really excited about moving is decorating EVERYTHING. Yep. The only thing I’m keeping is my refinished frenchy white dining room table & a buffet. The rest is going and eventually I’ll reveal our entire condo on the blog (YESSS!).

So basically what’s new with me. I’ve also been dreaming up a few fall recipes for you all. Thinking about apples, pumpkin, brussels, kale and all the squash. Also, how would you feel about PUMPKIN WEEK sometime mid-fall? Yes or nada? Tell me!
