I loved these and made them often postpartum! I am making them for my sister but she has a nut allergy. Would it work with sun butter?

    • replied:

I’m so glad! And yes, feel free to use sun butter!

  • says:

Looking to make some of these for postpartum. Can they be made ahead and frozen?

    • replied:

Yes they’re really good frozen, I eat them right out of the freezer or once they’ve defrosted at room temp for a few hours (middle of the night feeds)

    • replied:

      Yes, absolutely!

The BEST lactation balls I’ve tried! I make these for all my friends during postpartum and they always ask me for the recipe so they can make more! I myself have like 5 a day when I’m postpartum I’m truly addicted they’re such a good snack/treat! Bonus that they’re a one hand snack!

    • replied:

So happy to hear that! They’re my go-to right now, too 🙂

FTM with a 3 month old, a friend made me these a month back and added dates to the recipe. So yummy! Made them on my own yesterday and added dried cranberries and blueberries and some yogurt chips. Woke up at 3 AM needing to feed and pump! Thank you for this recipe!

    • replied:

These are such a great snack! Glad they’re a favorite!

Hey! Thank you for the recipe 🌈
I don’t have hemp hearts in my country, what can I replace it with?

    • replied:

Hi! You can just add another tablespoon of chia seeds 🙂

  • says:

Hi! Would these be ok for my 4 and 6 yr old to eat as well or no? Thank you!

    • replied:

Hi! Every child is different, so if you’re concerned or curious about any of the ingredients I’d suggest speaking with your pediatrician 🙂

  • says:

    Hi!

    I tried the recipe.

It’s important to start with the nut butter (I used peanut butter) and mix with the honey/vanilla extract to ensure a sticky/smooth texture. For those that said it didn’t stick.

I think it’s a very filling recipe after a long night of breast feeding and has all key ingredients to help with milk production.

I am on my second week of making them and month of breastfeeding. I just wished I would have started sooner!

    Thank you 🫶

These are amazing!!! I’m 5 weeks postpartum and have been making a double batch every week for an easy snack to grab that will support my supply. Bonus points that my 4 year old and 1 year old also love snacking on these with me. Can confirm that I am a real person who just loves these lil bites

Amazing! So happy to hear that 🙂

The recipe failed, it didn’t stick together at all. Reviews are clearly biased or fake.

    • replied:

Sorry to hear that these didn’t work for you! Did you use an all natural, creamy peanut butter made with just peanuts and salt? It should be nice and “drippy,” which will help everything stick together.

Not biased or fake. I make these once a month and have never had an issue with them sticking together. They’re delicious.

I followed the exact recipe, it didn’t stick at all. I ended up just eating it with a spoon. What a waste of ingredients.

Truly delicious!! I could eat the whole batch in one sitting.

On that note, how many should you eat a day to boost milk supply?

    • replied:

So glad you enjoyed! I don’t know of a specific amount as everyone’s needs are different, but adding these to your diet is a great way to help 🙂

So happy to hear that! They were one of my go-to’s while breastfeeding (and as a nutritious snack any time).

What can I use to replace flaxseed for an allergy?

    • replied:

Hi! I think you can increase the amount of oats, or replace it with oat flour. Let me know if you try it!

New mom here- these taste absolutely amazing but the best part is how easy these are to make! With a newborn too many steps/ingredients feel daunting right now so I was drawn to these over cookies, etc. thank you Monique!! 💜

Being a Lactation Consultant, I was naturally pulled to this recipe. After I blacked out ‘lactation’, I took the recipe to my son’s home & my 13yo grandson made them for a quick breakfast for himself & his 17yo brother. He was very proud of the results! (I measured- he mixed.) I’m sure we’ll make another batch before I leave.

    • replied:

Hahaha love that! Yes these are great for anyone, not just mamas! Happy you guys loved them 🙂
