This sauce is just so versatile, so delightful, so good. Admittedly I’ve never added the parsley but I’ve made this so, so many times and it brightens up any meal I pair it with. Thank you for this winner sauce!!

Can I sub Sour Cream for yogurt? Forgot to buy some at the store!

    • replied:

I’m afraid the dip might come out too thin! Sour cream is much thinner than 2% / whole milk Greek yogurt.

I just made this for the second time now and somehow I forgot how incredible it is. This time around I completely forgot to buy a jalapeño so I used just 1/8 tsp of chipotle powder for heat, and once again, it’s perfection. I was also feeling frisky so I did 1/2 cup Greek yogurt and 1/2 cup cottage cheese for even more protein (had to add a bit more lemon juice and a splash of water so it would be thin enough to blend). This is amazing over veggies, salad, or just pop a straw in it and go for it. It’s that good.

Amazing! This one’s great for customizing 🙂 The straw — haha! Glad you love it!

Is there anything else I could use in place of cilantro? Or could I just omit the cilantro? I’m one of those who have the soap/cilantro issue. Thank you.

Feel free to add a tablespoon more of parsley if you’d like, but otherwise it should still be delicious!

Oh my lanta – this is amazing. I added a serrano pepper and a second jalapeno. Will be making another batch of it tonight.

      Love that!!

Tasty, but not thick like a dip

    • replied:

It is meant to be the best of both worlds as a dip and a sauce, so it will be a bit thinner than traditional dips!

I love the flavor and will use as a salad dressing but was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to thicken it up?

        • replied:

Try using a little bit less yogurt!
