The AK Cookbook Club is a FREE monthly series dedicated to celebrating all the fun, vibrant recipes in The Ambitious Kitchen Cookbook. Each month I’ll pick a new recipe from the cookbook for us all to make and share on social media for a chance to win an amazing prize. Welcome to September’s AK Cookbook Club! I’m so glad you’re here. A few reminders:

On the first Wednesday of each month, I’ll announce a new cookbook recipe from my cookbook that we’ll all get to make during the month. No recipes are off-limits, so get ready to cook and bake every month with me for an entire year! Think of it as a fun little challenge you can do with family & friends, or solo (because you’re ambitious like that!)

STEP 1: Sign up for the AK Cookbook Club below to get links to our LIVE cooking class, and all future Cookbook Club updates.

STEP 2: You’ll need a copy of The Ambitious Kitchen Cookbook in order to make future Cookbook Club recipes. Grab your copy HERE if you don’t already have it!

STEP 3: Make the AK Cookbook Club recipe anytime during the month, then share a photo or video of your creations on Instagram (in-feed or stories), in our Facebook Group, and/or email the photo to [email protected] with the hashtag #AKCookbookClub for a chance to win a KitchenAid Food Processor! *U.S. only due to shipping restrictions.

September’s recipe: Everyone’s Favorite Baked Chicken Tacos

Everyone turn to page 152 of my cookbook where you’ll find crispy, cheesy baked chicken tacos with a perfectly spiced, sneaky veggie-packed filling. As always, there are great ways to make this recipe your own:

Use the filling for quesadillas, rice bowls, or nachos (my kiddos call them “Mommy’s Nachos” — so cute).
Feel free to use lean ground chicken or ground turkey.
Serve them with homemade pickled jalapeños from the blog, plus my Spicy Cilantro Yogurt Sauce from page 236 OR my Jalapeño Lime Cashew Sauce from page 232!
