I love these tacos. I make them a lot and every time I do, it is an absolute crowd pleaser. Even my meat eater fiancé loves them. We like to eat them with the Chipotle Tahini Sauce.

Made these for dinner tonight and they were delicious! I wasn’t expecting them to get so crispy in the oven but they were an incredible texture. I’ll definitely make these again and am excited to experiment with different ingredients in the filling.

I will definitely keep this in the rotation. It was yummy and filling. And this was a hit with my toddler, a sign of a true win! The leftovers heat up well, too. I put them in the air fryer on reheat for a few minutes and they were perfect. Thank you!

I wonder how long you could build the tacos and then wait before baking? I like to have it prepped before dinnner time and then throw it in when I’m ready

    • replied:

I think you could get away with assembling them the night before, then oiling and baking them the next day!

Family loved this recipe. The beans had a great flavor & consistency. I think next time we will add more cheese, like a quesadilla. Thanks!

Omg so yummy. I used a smoky chipotle salsa which I think really added to the flavor. These are a hit and I can’t wait to make them for a football Sunday meal with some guac.

Gurl, that was so yummy. You created a hit recipe here. Wouldn’t change a thing. Definitely pair with guacamole and cabbage slaw. I added some corn salsa and I’m in heaven. Can’t wait for leftovers tomorrow.

First made this tacos for a group event a few months ago. Doubled the recipe and made some without cheese for our vegan friends. They were a big hit with everyone, even the picky eaters! The extra step of using the processor felt unnecessary at first, but I think the texture is what ended up making them palatable to all the kids who were eating them. Very easy to make and then heat up when everyone arrived.
Made them again last night and my kids gobbled them up again! Delicious!!

I cannot get enough of these black bean tacos! The filling is so easy to whip up and the flavors are incredible. My family eats a lot of meat so it’s rare I go for a vegetarian meal but these do not disappoint! I also just recently rolled these into bean and cheese burritos instead and froze a bunch for postpartum.

Rave review from my husband! He told me three or four times how tasty they are. These come together easily. I thought the filling was a bit salty, which could have been from the ingredients I used. Next time, I won’t add salt or I’ll use low sodium beans and will taste before adding more salt. I served them with your Cilantro Yogurt Sauce. Non nom nom!

These really have no business being as good as they are for as simple as they are. So fast, yummy and filling. A win all the way around. My only mistake was having 6″ tortillas and overfilling them a bit. Some of the filling oozed out during cooking. As they were cooling i just nudged everything back in-it wasn’t a big deal.

So darn good! I didn’t have black beans or salsa so I substituted with refried pinto beans and fresh cherry tomatoes. Kid approved which makes me wish a 10 star rating was possible. Thanks for making an easily modifiable vegan recipe
