Hi! I’m back with weekend favorites and I have to apologize for missing the last two weeks. Unfortunately the internet on the cruise ship wasn’t the best so I’m sorry to leave you hangin’!
Oh by the way, I cut 9 inches off my hair. NINE INCHES. I love it and plan on going shorter next week because after that I won’t be cutting it for a very long time.
This weekend: I’m heading to Boston today to hang out with some of my favorite food bloggers and have a girl’s getaway weekend. Be sure to follow me on Snapchat (username: ambitiouskitch) and Instagram to see all the food I’m eating.
Next week: I’m doing a fun cooking demo event at Williams-Sonoma in Lincoln Park (Chicago) and would LOVE to see you there. The event benefits the Chicago Children’s Choir and is next Wednesday June 29th from 6:30-8:30. It’s completely free, plus they’ll be good food (by me) and cocktails! Hope to see you there.
Oh and guess what? Tony and I are headed to Mexico for a little romantic vacation over the 4th of July. How American of us, right?! Regardless, I’m SO excited to bask in the sun and get away from writing for a bit. I’m calling it my post Summer Sweat Series vacation. Putting all that stuff together for the SSS takes a lot of work, and I’m due for a real relaxing non-work vaca on the beach with a giant margarita IV in my arm.
