I know that this is a food blog, but I can’t help but share some of my favorite things with you! And I LOVE beauty and fashion, so this post is really for all of you ladies out there.
I’ve mentioned Stitch Fix a few times on my blog, because I’m absolutely head over heels in love with their company! Have you tried it yet? If not, I’ll give you a little more info.
Stitch Fix is basically a personalized styling service… in a box! That’s right, it’s very similar to Birch Box except your ‘fix’ consists of 5 styled items tailored specifically to your style! To start you fill out a style profile online; it’s important to be pretty detailed in this process because you want to make sure that you get clothes that reflect your body, personality, and what you would actually wear.
After filling out your profile, you schedule your first fix. And let me tell you, getting your first fix is like Christmas! You don’t know what’s in the box, so every month is a fun surprise. Plus you get three days to figure out what you want to keep. And the ones you don’t keep, simply drop them off at the post office, your package is already prepaid. Oh and I think I forgot to mention that you get 25% off if you keep all five items that were sent to you. Could it get any better?
My experience with Stitch Fix has been fantastic so far. Each fix just keeps getting better, and I especially love the fact that I don’t have to go to three different malls searching for clothes. Who has time for that? Not me! This is convenient and best of all you have the ability to pick your price points. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Anyway, here’s what was in my last fix:
This dress is adorable and perfect for work! I feel like I could dress it up or down so definitely keeping!
LOVE the pattern and the color! Keep!
This pattern wasn’t really me, and I wasn’t in love with the shirt so I decided not to keep this one.
BEST NECKLACE EVER! Perfect over a black top or to put a pop of color in any outfit. Keep!
I wore this with black crops, teal earrings and a ballerina bun to work the other day. I got a lot of compliments! Kept, obviously!
Anyway I highly suggest that you sign up for Stitch Fix; it’s so much fun! Come on, I wouldn’t lie to you.
Also I found this fun social activation on the StitchFix blog:

Gahhh I am so excited! I just ordered my first StichFix after seeing you mention it. I get mine on Tuesday. Cannot wait!
I like the idea, but on the website they say most of the items in the box are in the $75 range. Is that true?! I would never be able to afford $75 for one single shirt! I hope they meant it’s the average price per box!
Hi Abby! Some of my shirts were around $40 dollars this time. Just make sure you put what your price range is when you fill out your profile. 🙂
i tried it out last month (made my price range the cheapest) and everything i got was over $50! a simple shirt was $60! i fell in love with a maxi dress in the box but couldnt possibly spend $75 on it. i totally dig the idea, but it was not worth it for me…to much money to be spending on clothes i could find at Tj Max!
I think it’s worth it to do it at least twice to see if you like it! A nice shirt from J.Crew or Express costs at least $60.
Jess, have you looked into CoutureSqd? Their stuff is only $20-30. They are a rental service at $35/month, but you get 4 pieces of clothes picked out for you by a stylist and you can actually wear the clothes. If you want to purchase, it’s $20-$30, which is a steal if, like me, you happen to snag a 100% silk blouse 🙂
I LOVE that necklace!
Nooooo they don’t deliver outside of the US…. Damn I was getting a bit overexcited !
I love this idea! I’ve never tried anything like this before, but it seems so exciting to have a package arrive and not know what goodies are in it! Definitely going to give it a go 🙂
Goodness me, I had no idea such a thing existed! Thanks for sharing. I’ma heading over to Stitch Fix now!
This is a great idea! Shame it’s only for the states 🙁
Gah I was so sold on this…. but they don’t offer this to Canadians. Dammit, Canada.
My first ever box shipped a few days ago, and a glimpse into yours made me all the more excited to get it! The questions and style picks when you set up a profile were so detailed – what a genius business this is!
I tried stitch fix after reading this and I loved it- will def do it again! Thx for suggestion!
Hi! Just wanted to send you a note thanking you – I had never heard of Stitch Fix until you blogged about it and now I am a stylist for the company. Maybe I wouldn’t have even applied for the role if you’d never posted this. Thanks!
