Ambitious Wedding Part 2: The Ceremony

I’m hoping to share our wedding recaps back to back every Friday for the next few weeks, therefore weekend favorites will be on hold for a short time. Thanks for your patience!

You can see our first look + get the outfit details in Ambitious Wedding Part 1 here.

Our ceremony was completely magical. Every moment was truly special: walking down the aisle for the first time + seeing Tony’s face light up, reciting our own vows in from of our friends and family there to celebrate us and of course, kissing for the first time after we said I do.

The ceremony + reception were both held at Salvage One in the West Loop/West Town area of Chicago. Salvage One is also an antique artifact store (where the ceremony) was held so we were able to incorporate some beautiful vintage pieces into our ceremony.

Tony was sweet enough to walk my mom down the aisle. Look how adorable they were.

Our officiant, Michael Moody. HE WAS AMAZING!! Can’t say enough good things about him.

This picture is absolutely perfect. My florist did such a beautiful job bringing my vision to life.

We also brought in all of our vintage rugs to make it a little more special.

Seriously, I love this picture more than anything.

Tony and I also wrote our own vows, which I’m sure you’ll hear once I post our wedding video.

Writing your own vows is truly an incredible experience and I highly recommend it. I’ll never forget the words.

I’M STILL OBSESSED WITH THIS MOMENT. The chandeliers. The rugs. The flowers. THE LOVE. ugh, it’s so good.
