Hi guys!

First of all, I just want to say how crazy happy I am that June is over. I know it seems silly, but last month was a little insane with travel, work and wedding planning. And now July is (almost) here and I couldn’t be happier, especially because my mama is coming to visit me. I’ll be picking her up from the airport in just a few hours. I’m gonna roll up with Lil Wayne blaring; it’s her favorite. JOKES.

Can you believe that I haven’t seen her since last September? In fact she hasn’t even seen my wedding ring in real life or my new condo! Like I’ve said, life’s been a little insane this year.

Regardless, I’m excited to spend time with her and do all the wedding things and that includes planning a HISPANIC wedding menu. OMG, literally going to be the best food ever… I can’t wait. Also tune into my Instagram stories this week for some fun with Lynn (aka my Mom).

Okay now a few updates from me:

1.) My house is a disaster. Like literally so much stuff everywhere. Time to clean it before Mom comes to visit ha.

2.) This week I accidently ordered 12 50 packs of coffee filters from Amazon. Fun times.

3.) I also ordered bulk 300 sandwich bags. I think I drank too much Rose that night. Not sure what happened.

4.) I have been listening to Florence and the Machine on repeat. Cosmic Love is my new jam (again) and will be played at the wedding.

5.) I had the best burger EVER from Little Bad Wolf in Chicago after a week of craving one. #cravingcrushed

6.) I am going to start training harder in preparation for my wedding. Look it’s not like I’m trying to lose weight or anything, but I would like to tighten up and tone. I’m actually very much looking forward to training more and working on a plan because working out is something I LOVE to do. It also motivates me.

7.) I have an obsession with wasabi peas and also sushi. I literally want to eat sushi every night. HELP.

8.) I really want to make something delicious with peaches for the blog next month. Any requests?!

9.) This week I spent time at the Under Armour Women HQ learning more about the brand and the women’s line. We ate delicious food, did intense workouts and checked out all their new gear. Every time I go there, I’m so impressed by what they are doing for women and the products they are making for women. My favorite are the shoes (BEST SHOES EVER).

10.) I also did a SUPER fun photoshoot with them that should come out sometime in September. Keep your eyes peeled for me werkin’ it.

11.) Our wedding invites are almost done being designed! Whoo hoo!

I thought it would be fun to talk about my workouts for the week every Friday since working out is another big part of my life. Truth be told, I probably work out 5x per week and literally walk everywhere. So from now on, I’m going to try and to give you a new every Friday + include a workout look or athletic look I’m loving lately too.

So here we go!

Length of each round: 4 minutes

Repeat entire circuit twice for a total of 32 minutes.

Directions: Do each exercise in each round for the number of reps given, starting at the highest number (15, 12, 10, 8). Get through as many as possible within 4 minutes. Rest for 45 seconds between each circuit.


Reps: 15, 12, 10, 8 (with dumbbells)

Squat to press

Renegade rows

Flat press


Reps: 20, 15, 12, 10

Banded sideways walk or side lunges

0.1 mile sprint

Push ups


Reps: 20, 15, 12, 10

Box jumps or jump squats


Moving plank (up / down plank)


Reps: 20, 15, 12, 10

Kettlebell swings

Butterfly sit-ups

Jump switch lunges (total not each leg)
