I don’t have a food processor. How can I make this dough without one? I am not a dough maker so not familiar. I usually buy Trader Joe’s frozen pie dough.

    this was unbelievably good.

      I’m glad you loved it!

Can this be made a day ahead?

    • replied:

Yes you can reheat this in the oven the next day, otherwise I’d suggest making the dough ahead of time and assembling the galette the next day!

Can I use havarti instead of sharp white cheddar?

      Sure!

Can I make this and then bake it the next day?

My first time making a galette and it turned out very well! Love the crust, it’s like a cheesy scone 😍 will definitely make this again

Can i make this in a rectangular pan? if so what size would you recommend? Shoudl I double the recipe? So many questions!!

    • replied:

Hi! How big is your pan? You could simply roll the crust out into a rectangular shape and make the recipe as is.

Made this for Thanksgiving and everyone was obsessed! Already planning to make again for the holidays.

      So happy to hear that!

Can you make this without a food processor? Could a Vitamix work?

    • replied:

I think so! Just be sure to pulse the ingredients and not fully blend them up.

A+!! I did not follow the recipe exactly. I stumbled upon this when looking for a quick/easy appetizer for some guests. I realized I had crescent rolls in the my fridge, so I used the filling in those and they turned out fabulously. I would do it again, but also look forward to when I have more time and can make the full galette. Thanks again!

Great idea! Glad this was a hit!

Can you make this crust using gluten free flour?

    • replied:

I haven’t tested it using a GF flour so I’m not sure how the texture will turn out! I’m afraid it will end up crumbly.
