That’s right, you can make powdered sugar right at home and it’s easier than you think. All you need is a blender and your paleo unrefined sugar of choice.
What kind of sugar can I use to make paleo powdered sugar?
There are a few options for making a paleo friendly powdered sugar. First, you’ll want to make sure it’s a natural, unrefined non-liquid sweetener. You can use any of the following:

How to make paleo powdered sugar:
- Add 1 cup paleo friendly sugar of choice to a blender.
- Blend on high until it has a powder-like texture.
- If you’d like it more ‘powder-like’, I suggest adding 1 tablespoon tapioca starch or arrowroot starch to the blender. This really helps to get it to be similar to regular powdered sugar.

Can you or have you ever used a food processor instead of a blender to do your powdered sugar? I don’t have a Vitamix, but I have a very strong food processor. Thnak you in advance!
