I think some of you may have been getting a sneak peek on Instagram and Snapchat of the new project I’m launching with Lee of Fit Foodie Finds. FINALLY I’m able to tell you more about it including details, what’s included, how you sign up and why you should!
So here we go…
While Lee and I were on a trip together in March, we chatted about creating a 6-week fitness and nutrition program. It’s a little obvious why we wanted to create it because if you couldn’t tell, we are both incredibly passionate about those two subjects. It was easy for us to envision because both of our blogs focus on living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. We both also include clean eating recipes, indulgences and workouts. (Yes, we believe that there is always room for dessert!)
After months of hard work, little intricate details and some serious Skype sessions we are happy to announce that the Summer SWEAT Series starts June 14th. This is just an introduction to what’s involved! Below will give a little more detail into the series, but always feel free to leave a comment if you have a question and we’ll get back to you ASAP!
What is the Summer SWEAT Series?
The Summer SWEAT Series is a 6-week health and fitness program that brings Ambitious Kitchen and Fit Foodie Finds communities a FREE program dedicated to changing the way you eat, move and feel. The 6-Week Summer Shape-Up combines fitness, meal plans and a balanced approach to changing your body before the summer ends.
Lee and I wanted to create a nutrition and fitness plan combination because we know that being healthy is different for everyone. Some people need to clean up their diets and others need to focus on working out. This program will encourage you to participate daily/weekly, but you can pick and choose what’s best for you from the workouts or the meal plan. If you choose to follow along for the complete six weeks, we promise that you’ll notice changes in your appearance, confidence and how you approach the food you eat.
To create the best fitness plan possible, we teamed up with two personal trainers from Minneapolis to create a unique program for the Summer SWEAT Series. We’ve also partnered with Aloha and Finishline to create a few amazing healthy recipes and share some awesome fitness gear with you.

Okay, I’m interested! How does it work?
Each week, we will be posting a weekly fitness plan along with a healthy meal plan plus a weekly grocery shopping list (one on each of our blogs) that will be available for you to download or print. Alternatively you can pin the images so that you can easily pull them up on your phone.
The best part? The workouts include detailed tutorials, the meal plans are printable to keep you on track, and grocery shopping lists will be available every Sunday. We’ll be posting more details about the fitness and nutrition plan next week so be sure to look for it!

It’s completely FREE to sign up!And there are numerous ways to participate, too! Currently we have a Facebook group dedicated to The Summer SWEAT Series; this will be a place for daily motivation, chatting with both myself and Lee, posting questions, talking about your food or workout challenges, sharing your progress and participating in giveaways! This is a community and we are incredibly excited to get to know you and to help you lead a healthy lifestyle.
