Looking for a healthier valentine’s day treat? Time to make these grain free chocolate sugar cookies this weekend — they’re made with almond and coconut flour!
also try my paleo chocolate almond butter cookies!
This week was amazing because I simply spent time catching up on LIFE. This means my taxes, financial planning, website creation and so much more. We’ve been SO busy working on projects (including Ambitious Home), and other behind the scenes jazzy stuff for all of you that I can’t wait to share SO SOON. Mainly I’m happy to feel a little more organized and calm going into this weekend.
This weekend Tony and I are going to a MURDER MYSTERY party. I literally have no idea what is involved but only know that I need to show up dresses as my character. We’ll see how good of a job I do at that. Have any of you ever been to murder mystery party?
Next week is Valentine’s Day and if you don’t have a partner, it’s time to treat yourself to a dinner with your friends, a little self love and above all chocolate.

lots of cannabis posts recently!
not sure if the link is working for your giveaway 🙁
Hi Laura! Just checked it out and it looks like it’s running normally – be sure to click “follow Ambitious Kitchen on Instagram” and enter your Instagram name, too!
So you can’t enter if you don’t have an Instagram account?
You can! We just updated it — so sorry about that – we clicked the wrong button on our end. 🙂
I absolutely adore your blog, your stance on life, and the balance you have found with healthy eating and self-care. I come from a background of disordered eating patterns and am currently working my way back to this balance. Thank you for being a good role model to ALL out there. It’s refreshing to have a blog that doesn’t moralize food and/or bash on certain diet choices.
Thank you so much for your note, Nicole! Finding balance is definitely a journey, and I’m so glad I can help others in that journey by talking about my experience. Everyone is different, so practicing your personal self-care is so important!
I think the link is missing for the story of 18 black women making history!
updated thank you!
Hey! There is not a link for the “18 incredible black women making history. Absolutely worth a read!”. Would love to check it out.
Thanks!
updated 🙂
I don’t have instagram, but I love Theo chocolate. I discovered them recently after my sister toured their facility in Seattle and told me all about it…delicious!
That’s amazing! I’m sure the facility was such a cool experience. No need to have Instagram to enter the giveaway – it’s just a bonus! 🙂 Enjoy!
I’m very curious about what a murder mystery party entails!! Please share next week!
Oh my gosh it was SO interesting! I’ll have to give you the lowdown on Friday!
