If we double the recipe do we double the egg amount also?

    • replied:

      Yes!

I used your blueberry scone recipe this morning with a few changes to use full fat yogurt, and coconut sugar. the results were impressive and I look forward to making some variations. Thanks for a great recipe.

Of course! SO glad to hear you’re loving this recipe and it is a hit ❤️

I found this recipe to be a complete fail. I pit ingredients in blender in order listed and oats were stuck in the bottom. Had to add half a cup of water to make a batter. Half the oats were still in the bottom when i poured the batter into the pan. Pancakes came out raw, mushy and flavourless

Hi Susan – What type of blender did you use? Sounds like it wasn’t high powered enough.

These oatmeal, banana, blueberry, yoghurt pancakes were yummy. I used frozen mixed berries, plain Greek yoghurt, a full banana and a drizzle of honey in the batter so it was mushier than it should have been but not too tricky to flip over. I will definitely try them again with chocolate chips maybe. Thank you for this recipe.

This was my first time making pancakes with oatmeal and yogurt and it was delicious!! I love the simplicity of the ingredients and how filling they are. I used plain greek yogurt because that’s what I had and they came out great. Perhaps they weren’t as sweet, but I was absolutely fine with it. I could always modify that with some maple syrup. Excellent recipe!!

      So happy to hear that!

Delicious! Made them once with blueberry yogurt and blueberries and once just vanilla – vanilla was my favorite. Such an easy recipe!

    • replied:

      Perfect! Glad you loved them!

I do not recommend adding fruit!! I couldn’t even finish a few bites. Maybe plain or with choc chips they would taste fine, but i did not enjoy them one bit. Batter smelled good, though.

    • replied:

Hi! Sorry to hear that you didn’t like them with blueberries. Feel free to leave them out or use chocolate chips if you like them better!

Just made these for the first time. After reading several reviews I was afraid they may not cook through. They did and they are delicious! I doubled the recipe except for the egg. I only used one. I only had one container of siggi’s yogurt (vanilla & cinnamon) so used that and added the same amount of plain 2% Greek yogurt. Once the batter was blended I added 1/2 cup of frozen organic wild blueberries, gently mixed in and let everything sit for five minutes. These pancakes cooked beautifully and tasted yummy! 😋 I was able to make 10 good sized pancakes. My 2 year old granddaughter who LOVES blueberries ate 3 pancakes and said “Mmmm”! I agree!!

    Thank you Monique ❤️

I tried to make these but they weren’t fluffy inside, but wet and gloopy after the the bubbles were all popped. Is this normal 🙁

    • replied:

Sorry to hear you had a problem. Did you use siggi’s yogurt and rolled oats? That’s the only yogurt I’ve tested with this recipe!

  • says:

everyone LOVES these healthy pancakes — so easy and great for kids!

  • says:

These sounded so delicious but were one big gooey mess. I followed instructions completely. Never really cooked like a pancake, stuck horribly. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Ideally want them to work!

    • replied:

Did you use siggi’s yogurt? I just made these recently and had no issues whatsoever! Was the batter thick or thin?

  • says:

We all wake up at different times so I don’t want to run the blender in the morning. Would it be better to blend them the night before and store them in the fridge until morning? Or cook them the night before and then reheat them in the morning?

  • says:

How many carbs in the pancakes? Also can I substitute a different yogurt? Unfortunately I can’t get the exact yogurt listed in the recipe.

    • replied:

About 29g per serving. Feel free to use an equal amount of your favorite greek yogurt!

  • says:

I used half a cup of fage because I didn’t have Sigis and they came out great! Yogurt pancakes don’t always cook well for me but these flipped so nicely. Thanks!

    • replied:

Great! Glad you liked them 🙂

  • says:

I really do not like banana. Is there any other substitution for banana?

Side note: any time someone says you can’t taste the banana in something and to use it, I can still taste it. Just my luck! So I would love a substitute

    • replied:

Sure, you can try mashed sweet potato or applesauce!

These pancakes are delicious! I had to switch the baking powder for baking soda since I can’t have corn, but they still turned out great. With lots of new food allergies, finding yummy recipes is hard but oatmeal based stuff rocks!

    • replied:

Perfect! I have tons of oatmeal based recipes here 🙂 Glad your finding some you love!

Just made these and they’re incredible! I’m wondering, if I freeze them how should I re-heat when I’m ready to eat?

    • replied:

So glad you like them! You should be able to re-heat a few at a time in the microwave.

  • says:

Mine stuck like crazy to the griddle! Any suggestions because what I could salvage was delicious!

    • replied:

Strange! I’d suggest a little extra coconut oil or cooking spray on your pan.

  • says:

Is it possible to make these without the egg?

    • replied:

I haven’t tried it, but you could maybe try a flax egg?

  • says:

Wow! These are amazing! I can’t wait to explore your site for more recipes!

Hey! I made these with my roommate on Saturday for dinner and ending up making them again on Sunday and looking forward to them for dinner again tonight. SO OBSESSED. Not to mention healthy and felt so good after them. We added banana, cinnamon, chia seeds, and peanut button on top.
Additionally — we blended the blueberries in with everything else which make cooking so much easier. Thank you so much for this! Love, love.

    • replied:

Hi! LOVE the pancakes for dinner idea 🙂 So happy you guys loved these!!

  • says:

Woah. I’m super excited to try these ASAP! I’ve been looking for quick and easy breakfast ideas that I can take to-go since I am ALWAYS running late in the mornings… and I don’t like oatmeal or yogurt on their own 🙁 🙁 🙁 but love them in recipes, so this is perfect!! Would you mind sharing your tips on freezing? Do you have to thaw them overnight? Warm up in the microwave? I’m thinking I could make a big batch to freeze and then warm them up once I get to the office to save time!

    • replied:

These are perfect!! I would just reheat them in the microwave 🙂 Enjoy!

This is now my go-to recipe for pancakes. I added a dash of ground cinnamon because both blueberries and oatmeal have an affinity for it. I used a large well seasoned cast iron skillet with coconut oil and the pancakes came out perfectly delicious!

    • replied:

Amazing!! Cinnamon sounds delicious in here 🙂

  • says:

These are amazing! I made 6 smaller pancakes and cooked them covered in a non-stick skillet and they turned out great. If you’re having trouble with them cooking through I would put a lid on the frying pan to create more even heat. These are the best morning treat that aren’t actually a calorie splurge. I’m going to try making up some to freeze for mid-week breakfast

    • replied:

Delicious! And great tip on the lid 🙂 So glad you enjoyed these!

  • says:

I tried cooking mine on low and they still didn’t cook in the middle

    • replied:

Very strange! If the batter seemed a bit thin, I would try blending with about a tablespoon or two more of the oats.

      • replied:

I am having the same problem! I cook it on low for a long time and the middle still isn’t cooked

        • replied:

I would try blending them with about 1-2 more tablespoons of oats, and pushing the blueberries in once you pour the batter on the pan!

          • replied:

The other thing I’ve noticed about these, my favourite pancakes EVER (thank you again Monique 😊) is the smaller the berries, the closer the batter is to the pan when you turn them. Larger berries make the batter stand up higher when you flip them so you need to push the mixture down with your spatula and maybe even squash the berries slightly to get the batter to make contact with the fry pan. Otherwise they will not cook as well in the middle. Don’t let that put you off making these. They are easy and SENSATIONAL!

            • replied:

That’s a great tip! So glad you love these 🙂

  • says:

I soaked my oats in apple
Juice overnight and then followed your recipe exactly – they were sensational:)

Thanks and I look forward to trying more of your recipes:)

    Very good Going try it.
