Easy quick and delicious and a great way to use up my Summer tomatoes. I also like that it made a lot. Two teenagers and two adults ate the whole thing with no leftovers!

This was SO delicious!! I cubed up the chicken and coated everything. I used Basil paste as I didn’t have fresh basil and it still turned out amazing!

      Perfect! So glad you enjoyed!

This was easy and delicious! I added red and yellow peppers. Next time I will also add mushrooms and spinach to the sauce.

This is probably my most made recipe by Monique, it is in heavy rotation at my house. So simple and delicious, I’ve also made it with Italian sausage or no meat at all. It is my comfort food meal!

    • replied:

So happy to hear that! One of our favorites, too 🙂

Monique, you done popped off with this sauce! I saw you had posted the reel of this recipe on IG a few months ago and knew immediately that my fiance would love it. The sauce is so full of flavor with the fresh cherry tomatoes and the kick from the red pepper flakes that I’m convinced that the reviewers who claimed the sauce is bland did it wrong. My fiance is half Italian and said this is way better than restaurant rigatoni – he even said as I was making the sauce that it reminded him of his mom’s cooking! Will definitely be reaching for this again whenever we need something comforting.

    • replied:

So happy to hear that you both loved it! That sauce is incredible 🙂

  • says:

Found this pasta to be very bland even though I added extra hot peppers

    • replied:

Sorry to hear that! I’d recommend increasing the salt to taste in the sauce as everyone’s salt tolerances vary (and that’s what brings out all of the flavors).

  • says:

Really good, easy & filling pasta to make for a crowd!

    • replied:

      Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed!

This was so good that I had to leave a review. I made this last night and the sauce is fantastic!

    • replied:

      So glad you loved it!

  • says:

This was amazing!!! DO NOT cheap out on the cherry tomatoes, get the high quality ones bc they take the dish to THE NEXT LEVEL & the flavor is just so much more robust & amazing!! 🙌🏽I used unsweetened coconut milk & it worked like a charm! I ended up not adding any parmesan bc the cherry tomatoes stole the show & flavor was beautiful with them alone!

    • replied:

Agreed! So glad you loved it!

This wasn’t one of my favourites unfortunately. I enjoyed it well enough but it simply tasted like tomato sauce with pasta and chicken.

    • replied:

Sorry to hear that! With the seasonings, heavy cream, white wine, and parmesan I’ve found this to have much more flavor than plain tomato sauce. Did you add all of those components to the sauce?

  • says:

Don’t understand the rave reviews about “sauce.” This came out dry as the Sahara. Adding the full cup of pasta water and another 1/2 c of cream helped moisten, but killed any flavor. If I try again I’ll begin with 1.5 to 2x all flavor liquids and tomatoes, add pasta slowly until the balance is better.

    • replied:

So strange! I haven’t had that issue before with all of the liquid from the tomatoes, wine, pasta water, etc. I might suggest reducing the heat on the stove so that the liquid doesn’t evaporate as quickly.

  • says:

The pasta and sauce are phenomenal! We loved it and will undoubtedly make it again. I added spinach and substituted fat free Greek yogurt for the heavy cream (for low cholesterol needs). And, yes, it was still delicious! The only thing we didn’t care for was the chicken. Too dry, dull, and thin. Next time will do a marinated grilled chicken with this dish. That sauce, though – soooo good!!

    • replied:

So glad you enjoyed! Feel free to use your favorite marinade for the chicken next time 🙂

This recipe is amazing! We have made this one twice now and it’s addictive. We have 3 kiddos and all of them ate it which, if you’re a parent, that’s amazing! The only thing I did differently is double the chicken because we are a family of 5. The leftovers are so good too. I wouldn’t change a thing when making this recipe.

Loved this recipe. It really is like a restaurant meal. The wine addition gives that extra dimension….along with the cream (I used half and half),basil and starchy pasta water……YUM!

This is yummy! I grow cherry tomatoes and basil. This is a perfect recipe to use them in. I subbed the heavy cream for the coconut cream which worked nicely. Delicious!

this is so delicious! My husband coudn’t stop eating it! We are not big spice fans, so omitted the red pepper flakes. Also used chicken breast tenders and dried basil since that’s what we had on hand, and it was fabulous! Great option for pasta night!!

      Perfect! Glad you both enjoyed!
