One of my best friends is moving to Washington this weekend so this shout out is just for her: I’ll miss you Laura. I’ll miss Tibet Kitchen, our Rojo dinner dates, and even hard boiled egg whites. By the way, I’m so proud of you.
Can’t wait to visit!
We recently had a team meeting and had this for apps. It was nothing short of delicious.
During our meeting we made homemade pasta, grilled chicken, salads, and lemon olive oil cakes. I was FULL to say the least.
Have you tried this stuff? My favorite granola is usually honey and oats or ANYTHING pumpkin flavored.
Isn’t it obvious I love pumpkin from the bottom of my heart?
I’ve also been enjoying homemade tomato sauce. My mom has an abundance of tomatoes in her garden.
Tomato sauce is the best with cheesy pasta. OF COURSE.
Followed by cookies. Going to bake these in my brand new apartment this weekend! Yes, I’m moving and am so excited.
Are you a fan of kale? I am! My best tip for kale salads? Let them marinate in dressing overnight. They’re completely amazing the next day.
I was a little bummed that these weren’t as good as I thought they would be.
However pancakes can do no wrong! Especially with a little chocolate action.
CHILI. SO GOOD.
Waking up to happiness.
Started editing these weeks ago. Never finished. So I guess you know what’s coming!
Told ya I loved pancakes.
And M&Ms. Preferably peanut butter.
Please make these bars. You won’t regret it.
VANILLA LOVE.
A delicious night in San Fran at Boulevard. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend it.
Excuse me?! Obviously these are a MUST. I mean what if you drizzled them with dark chocolate?
Brownies + zucchini banana bread (with chocolate chips).
A favorite healthy snack: tomatoes + basil + red wine vinegar. YUM.
So judging a bread contest will make you extremely full. Lesson learned.
All about this orange thing.
New haircut for fall.
A little hand modeling for the new Gold Medal Flour website.
Now a FUN trip to Boston! I needed that vacation more than anything.
Sometimes you have to remember to take out a little time for yourself.
This is one of my best friends from Australia. His name is Brendan.
On my second day in Boston we went for a long run/walk by Castle Rock in Southie. It was gorgeous. I remembered how much I love the ocean.
As a tradition, every time I visit we always bake something. We made three cookie recipes. Sorry, not sorry.
I froze extra cookie dough because I’m an awesome friend.
This is my friend Casey. He’s the best. I hadn’t seen him in two years!
When we spent time in Australia together, we called ourselves the 3 musketeers.
I met this darling editor from America’s Test Kitchen. What a small world. LOVE ATK!
We spent the rest of the weekend exploring downtown Boston and the North End. It was historic, full off Italian food, and amazing people.
Finally we went to Mike’s Pastry. I had a chocolate chip cannoli and it pretty much changed my life.
If you ever go to Boston, you MUST get a pastry from Mike’s.
Lastly we ended the weekend with a big night out.
My flight out was ROUGH.
I’ll miss Boston and my friends. Until next year!
I just started reading Jenna’s book. It’s amazing!
Want to live at Whole Foods.
And here’s the rest of my Instagram photos…
I’ll be back with recipes soon!
Enjoy today. Live in the moment. Hug those who matter. Send a text just to let someone know you’re thinking about them.
And smile!
xoxo
