That’s right, this muffin queen (hi, it’s me!) rounded up my favorite healthy muffin recipes that are perfect for breakfast, snack, desserts, and especially sharing with the people you love. LET’S DO IT UP PEOPLE.
Truth: I call baking my therapy. When I’m feeling anxious, I trash up my kitchen and bake my heart out. It soothes the soul.
But you know what I love even more? Baking for the ones I love. There’s nothing better than expressing your love and gratitude for someone than with fresh baked goodies.
Each of these healthy muffin recipes has a unique flavor and add-ins, but they all have one thing in common…they are amazingly fluffy, perfectly sweet and have wholesome ingredients. I created these recipes using different flours so that there’s a good mix of regular and gluten-free that you can share with anyone.
After all, muffins are one of my favorite ways to show some love to friends and family. So, it’s time! Time to take a scroll through this fluffy goodness, preheat the oven, and get baking. Share with a loved one, and be sure to freeze extra for yourself. Enjoy!

I make your Power Flax Chocolate Chip Banana Oatmeal Muffins literally every 2-3 weeks. I’ve already eaten two today! Excited for more muffin recipes! 🙂

I’m not a huge sweets person but I just love muffins with my morning cup of coffee… my favorite is cinnamon 🙂
It’s such a great combo! Cinnamon sounds great!
Ooh, gingerbread muffins, banana muffins, pumpkin muffins, strawberry muffins, carrot cake muffins, and chocolate muffins?! I am SO excited to start baking muffins again!
YES it’s baking season! Enjoy 🙂

I could totally look at these photos for days!
So much goodness!!
Do you have a cookbook of these recipes
Hopefully in the future!
Monique, you have so many good muffin recipes already! And I like that you have options for ones with not as much sugar. Some kind of savory muffin sounds good to me, but I can’t think of any kind of specific flavor.
Thank you Connie! A savory muffin sounds delicious. I’ll have to brainstorm 🙂
Greetings from snowy St. Paul, MN! For Muffin Week 2019, what about a cinnamon roll muffin? We have your gluten-free dairy-free banana chocolate chip and blueberry “sugar cookie” muffins on repeat at our house, and I’d love to add a new flavor to the rotation! (I’d selfishly love to have gf/df versions of your lemon poppyseed and carrot cake muffin recipes, too, but I know adapting and testing for different food allergies/sensitivities is a lot of work!)
Hi Lauren! A cinnamon roll muffin sounds delicious. LOVE those other muffins, too. I’ll keep the gf/df requests in mind! Can’t wait for muffin week!
yum! these all look sooo good. need to bake! if you haven’t watched the great british baking show, you should! it’s so fun to watch all the baking goodness!
Absolutely! I’ll have to turn it on next time I’m baking 🙂
I just bookmarked so many new recipes to make!!! 😀
So happy to hear that! Hope you find some new ones you love 🙂
Some things you can’t deny, and you’re just the muffin queen. It’s true!
I agree with the comment above about GF versions of your lemon poppyseed and carrot cake muffins. That would be divine. I make your blueberry “sugar cookie” muffins all the freakin’ time. I like your oat flour muffin varietals. I’ve also been searching for a really delicious GF cornbread muffin.
Thanks Lisa!! For GF versions of the muffins I always specify in the recipe notes if there’s a swap I’d recommend, so check there 🙂 Glad you love those blueberry muffins (so good!)

Thank you they are great. Would love a nut free, gluten free, sugar free muffin for children to take to school if you have a proven recipe please

Try this recipe and use butter or another oil for the coconut oil – there are instructions for making them into muffins on the bottom of the recipe 🙂
OATMEAL RAISIN PLEASE! your muffin recipes are amazing!
Ooo great idea!!
Hello! Love your recipes- I’m looking for a way to eat more magnesium and have put pumpkin seeds high on the priority list. Do you think I could add them into basically any of these, or are there any of the more healthy muffin recipes that you think would be best with seeds added? Not a huge carrot cake or morning muffin fan or else I’d just go for that. Thank you so much for any help!😊
Hi Taylor! Yes feel free to add to any of the muffins. 🙂
